How can we help?
Answers to the most common problems with a parcel at a pickup point or a parcel locker.
For all the details: the complete guide to pickup points.
I don't know which carrier is delivering my parcel
This is the first thing to find out: a parcel can only be collected or dropped off at one of its carrier's points.
How do I know which carrier is handling my parcel?
Look at the seller's shipping confirmation email: it almost always names the carrier and gives a tracking link.
On Vinted, Leboncoin or another platform for private sellers, the carrier is the one chosen when you bought the item; it appears in the order summary and on the shipping label.
Otherwise, the format of the tracking number often gives it away: enter it on the site's "Parcel tracking" page, which recognises the carrier (see also the "Tracking number" section).
Colissimo, La Poste, Chronopost, Pickup, DPD: what is the difference?
Colissimo is La Poste's parcel service: its parcels are collected at a post office, at a relais poste (a partner shop) or at a Pickup point.
Chronopost and DPD deliver to the Pickup network: Pickup shops and Pickup Station lockers.
On this site, choosing Colissimo therefore also shows post offices, and choosing Chronopost or DPD shows Pickup points.
The seller chose the pickup point for me, how do I find it?
The address of the delivery point is given in the arrival notice (text message or email) and on the parcel's tracking page. Search for this address on the site to see its opening hours and directions.
Tracking number
The tracking number tells you where your parcel is and when it reaches the pickup point.
Where do I find my tracking number?
In the seller's shipping email, in the order details on the online store, or in the platform's app (Vinted, Leboncoin…). For a parcel you sent yourself, it is on the drop-off receipt or under the barcode of the shipping label.
How can I tell the carrier from the number?
A few common formats, as a guide: 13 characters starting with two letters and ending in FR (for example XX123456789FR) for La Poste, Colissimo or Chronopost; one digit, one letter then 11 digits for Colissimo; a number starting with 1Z for UPS; a code starting with TBA for Amazon.
The other carriers (Mondial Relay, DPD, GLS, DHL, Relais Colis) mostly use numbers made of digits only, of varying lengths. The site's "Parcel tracking" page does this recognition for you. If in doubt, the tracking link in the shipping email remains the most reliable source.
Where can I track my parcel?
Enter the number on the "Parcel tracking" page of Relais autour de moi (top menu): the carrier is recognised from the format of the number, then its official tracking opens with the number already filled in. The page then suggests this carrier's pickup points near you.
Relais autour de moi does not show the parcel's history itself: the steps and the delivery date are on the carrier's website or app. You can also go there directly, in its parcel tracking section.
My tracking has not moved for several days
Tracking can stay still for one or two working days between two steps, especially over the weekend. Beyond the announced delivery time, contact the seller first: they have the contract with the carrier and can open a claim.
Collecting a parcel
What you need to know before going to the pickup point or the locker.
What do I need to bring?
The collection code received by text message or email and, in most cases, an ID in the recipient's name. At a parcel locker, you just enter or scan the code on the screen.
Can I go as soon as the parcel has been shipped?
No: wait for the arrival notice (text message or email). Before that, the parcel is not yet at the pickup point. Also check the day's opening hours on the point's page, as many shops close at lunchtime or on Mondays.
How long does my parcel stay available?
The holding period depends on the carrier, the service chosen by the sender and the type of point: it is often 7 to 14 days, sometimes shorter at a locker. Only the deadline given in the arrival notice counts. After that, the parcel usually goes back to the sender.
Can someone else collect my parcel?
Usually yes: the person shows the collection code and, depending on the carrier, their ID, yours or a signed authorisation. The exact conditions are given in the arrival notice.
The pickup point is closed or does not have my parcel
A shop may close for holidays or stop being a pickup point: the carrier then redirects the parcel to another point, shown in the tracking or in a new message. If the tracking says the parcel is available but the shopkeeper cannot find it, contact the carrier's customer service with your tracking number.
The locker does not open
Check the code (no spaces, watch out for letters and digits that look alike) and that you are at the right locker: there may be several at the same address. If the door stays shut, the screen or the carrier's app gives a helpline number.
Dropping off or returning a parcel
For a shipment, a sale between private individuals or a return.
Where do I drop off my parcel?
At a point of the carrier printed on your shipping label. Choose this carrier in the "All carriers" menu next to the search bar, or open its page from the "Carriers" menu, to see the nearest points.
How much does it cost to send a parcel?
The "Shipping prices" page (top menu) compares by weight the public rates of Mondial Relay, Relais Colis, Shop2Shop by Chronopost and Colissimo, to a pickup point or to the door, with the date the prices were checked and a link to each carrier's official page. Check the final price when you buy the label.
For a sale on Vinted or Leboncoin, the platform provides the label and sets the price, which the buyer pays.
Do all pickup points accept drop-offs?
Not always: some points only handle collections, and some lockers only accept small parcels. Each point's page shows, when the information is known, whether it accepts drop-offs, collections or returns.
I sell on Vinted or Leboncoin, how do I send the parcel?
Print the shipping label (or show the code or QR code provided by the app) and drop the parcel off at a point of the carrier chosen by the buyer. Keep the drop-off receipt until the parcel is delivered.
How do I return an item?
Follow the seller's return procedure: it provides the return label and the carrier to use. Then drop the parcel off at a point of this carrier that accepts returns.

Using Relais autour de moi
Questions about how the site itself works. The top menu leads to the carrier pages, parcel tracking, shipping prices and this help page.
"Near me" cannot find my location
Your browser needs permission to access your location: accept the request that appears, or allow location for this site in your browser settings. On a computer, the location may be approximate; type your address for a precise result.
A point is missing or its opening hours are wrong
The points come from public sources (La Poste, Mondial Relay, OpenStreetMap) updated every week, and some networks are still incomplete. Check the opening hours with the carrier before you go, and report an error to contact@relaisautourdemoi.fr.
How do I see only the points that are open?
In the results, open the "Any opening time" menu and choose "Open now", "Open after 7pm tonight", "Open on Sunday" or "Open 24/7". The "All point types" menu separates pickup points, lockers and post offices, and "Any parking" lets you keep only the points with parking within 200 m.
How do I keep my usual pickup points?
Tap a point's star to add it to your favourites. Your favourites and recently viewed points appear on the home page, under the search bar. The numbers entered on the "Parcel tracking" page stay listed on that page, so you can find them without typing them again.
Without an account, everything is kept in your browser, on this device only: nothing is sent.
Do I need to create an account?
No, the whole site works without an account. The optional account ("Sign in" button) lets you find your favourites and tracked parcels on several devices and manage the reviews you have left.
Didn't find the answer?
For a lost, late or damaged parcel, contact the seller or the carrier's customer service: only they have access to your shipment. For a mistake on this website, write to contact@relaisautourdemoi.fr.
