How to send a Leboncoin parcel: the 4 steps

How do you send a Leboncoin parcel? Everything happens in the transaction: it gives the carrier, the shipping slip and the deadline. Procedure checked against Leboncoin's help pages on 20 October 2026.

1. Confirm the item is available after the buyer has paid.
2. Get the shipping slip (or the Mondial Relay QR code).
3. Pack the item.
4. Drop the parcel off with the transaction's carrier, within the deadline shown.

Confirming availability

A private seller has 3 days to confirm (Leboncoin help). A professional seller has 48 hours (Leboncoin help).

Getting the shipping slip

According to Leboncoin's help, the shipping slip (bon d'envoi) can be found in four places:

• in the email "N'attendez plus pour envoyer votre article…" (don't wait any longer to send your item);
• in the messages, with the "Récupérer mon bon d'envoi" (get my shipping slip) button;
• on the website: Compte > Transactions > Ventes (Account > Transactions > Sales), "Livraison" (delivery) box;
• in the app, by the same route.

No shipping slip? It is often due to an incomplete address. The help page advises cancelling the transaction and asking the buyer to start again.

Packing

Use a suitable box, wedge the item in place and close it with strong tape. The label must be readable and firmly stuck on. Without a printed shipping slip, write the tracking number on the box with a marker, as Leboncoin's help asks.

Where to drop off a Leboncoin parcel, by carrier

The buyer chooses the carrier: it is shown in the transaction and on the shipping slip. To send a Leboncoin parcel via a pickup point, drop it off at a point of that carrier, and only that one.

Find the nearest point on the map around you, filtered by carrier: Mondial Relay pickup points and lockers, Pickup shops for Shop2Shop, Colissimo points.

Professional seller: custom shipping

A professional seller can choose their own carrier and enter the tracking number in the transaction (Leboncoin help).

Sending a Leboncoin parcel without a printer (QR code)

Leboncoin's help only describes drop-off without printing for Mondial Relay. The QR code arrives by email about 30 minutes after the purchase is confirmed (Leboncoin help).

• At a Point Relais®: only at those displaying "Impression en Point Relais disponible" (printing available). The pickup point prints the shipping slip.
• At a Locker: scan the QR code and choose the compartment size. Compartment too small: close it, scan again and choose a larger one, within 55 seconds. The drop-off is recorded automatically when the door closes.
• No suitable compartment: go to a Point Relais® with the QR code. No pickup point nearby: contact Mondial Relay to cancel the shipment and get a new QR code.
• Exception: for Mondial Relay home delivery, printing is required.

How long do you have to send a Leboncoin parcel?

Note: another help page, the one on the shipping slip, states 72 hours to drop off after payment and confirmation. The safest option is to drop off within 72 hours. In any case, the deadline shown in your transaction is what counts.

Do not confuse this with the delivery time, which depends on the carrier once the parcel has been dropped off.

After drop-off: tracking, payment and uncollected parcels

Proof of drop-off and tracking

Keep the proof of drop-off given by the pickup point (Leboncoin help). At a Locker, the drop-off is recorded automatically when the compartment closes. To see where the shipment is: track your parcel.

When do you get paid?

When the buyer confirms receipt ("Tout est ok ?", is everything OK?), or automatically 30 days after shipping if there is no incident (Leboncoin help, parcel not received).

The buyer does not collect the parcel

With Mondial Relay and Shop2Shop, the parcel comes back to you automatically: the transaction is cancelled, the buyer refunded and the listing paused, ready to be reactivated (Leboncoin help). Parcel damaged, lost or refused at drop-off: what to do?

Leboncoin parcel lost or not received

The buyer can ask Leboncoin to step in 30 days after drop-off, or earlier if the carrier reports an incident. The investigation takes about 10 to 15 days, and the funds stay blocked during that time (Leboncoin help). For any compensation, see the terms of Mondial Relay and of Colissimo for Leboncoin. Parcel damaged or not as described

The buyer has 3 days after receipt to report the problem. The claim to the carrier is made within 24 hours, then a 7-day amicable settlement phase begins. Photos requested: the parcel with its label, a close-up of the label, the inside and the defect (Leboncoin help).

Our advice for sellers: before drop-off, photograph the item and then the closed parcel with its label, and keep the receipt.

Parcel refused at drop-off

• Weight or size outside the criteria: compare with the table.
• Pickup point without printing: with a QR code, choose a pickup point displaying "Impression en Point Relais disponible" (printing available), or print the shipping slip.
• QR code unreadable, not recognised or expired: see the terms of Mondial Relay.
• Pickup point full or closed: see pickup point closed or full.
